ROBERT DE NIRO - JEROME (Ft. DADDI DAVE)

For us, Jerome is a bit of a household name as we’ve been listening to him legitimately for quite a while at this point and till now, we’ve never even once grown tired of the music he makes. 🔥 And this track is a buzzing exhibition that makes an impressionable mark of an artist that is immensely worthy of your attention. 💯 The production is what really makes it standout, with Dave & Jerome continuing to apply pressure throughout their verses to make this one an enjoyable experience. 🔊✨ There seems to be a mixture of Indie Rock, Pop, and Hip-Hop music that is brought together through the style of the beat, vocals, and the lyricism, making the genre mashup so appealing, it’s hard to even put into words honestly. 🌟 Both artists shine and are very much in their bags as Dave starts out with a few quick, choppy bars and although his hooks are very brief & don’t go too in-depth, they do show off his skills, providing a nice divider between each of Jerome’s verses. 🎙 Moreover, while most of his past songs tend to be outright bangers, Jerome takes this opportunity to look inside of his soul & discuss some more meaningful narratives. 🍜 It’s this kind of diversity that a lot of artists seem to lack and I for one am a big fan of this style considering it adds some individualism to what’s an already inventive track. 💭 Also, while the song is great, the music video makes it even better. 🎥 From the camera angles to the close up shots, there are not enough good words to say about it. 🏆 There aren’t too many scenery changes throughout, but he makes every single setting appear unique and they come off unlike any scene in any other rap videos you might be able to think of, so it’s definitely captivating, to say the least. 🇰🇪
